About the Artist...

Steve and Cyndy Ellison are the owners and creative artists at LSN Studios,
which has specialized in high quality family and graduating senior portraiture since 1992.

Steve holds the degree of Master of Photography as conferred by the Professional Photographers of America.
He has studied with some of the premier photographers in the country and attended the University of California, Riverside, earning a
Bachelor of Science degree in 1986.  He is a founding member of the Contemporary Photographers Society - a select nationwide group of
 50 leading and progressive photographers.  As a member of our past local Reno portrait guild, he served as President and earned several awards,
including Photographer of Year and Portrait Photographer of the Year.

As a condition of earning the Master of Photography degree, Steve had to submit images over several years for review by the
PPA International Photography Competition judges to satisfy the organization that we produce the high caliber of work that they mandate.
One of these images was selected to hang at Epcot Center at Walt Disney World that year - the best of the best!

Steve has almost twenty years of experience making people look their best!  He is the only photographer at LSN.  You'll never come to
LSN and get "the new guy".  Steve is also an expert in lighting.  Look around here and you'll see that our lighting is never flat and boring -
we always us the best tools for the job to bring out your best features and personality.  Steve didn't just pick up a camera and CALL himself
a photographer.  Ask him anything you want to know about photography - Steve seriously knows his craft!

Cyndy has an extensive background in customer service, and loves to meet with people that aren't quite sure what to
expect or do! Her flair for design and making people feel at ease is readily apparent in their images. Cyndy is a graduate of
Morrison College in Reno.
