Frequently Asked Questions
1. How much do your senior portraits cost?
Our Portrait Collections start at $325. Your final amount can vary due to the way you actually structure your collection. Our clients find it most beneficial to meet with us for a short consultation here at the studio so we can explain how everything works in person!
2. Do I have to buy pictures from who the school says?
No! Your school might dictate who you have to get a yearbook shot done by. Many schools get a kickback from the "school" photographer, so they would like you to go there. But your school can NOT tell you who you have to purchase your senior portraits from! Purchase your portraits from whomever you choose. If you don't like the work of the school photographer, don't purchase them! Then complain!
3. Can I have my portraits created later in the year?
Although there are no deadlines here at LSN Studios, we can't tell you how many times someone has called for a desired time, and we're sold out. Our recommendation - reserve your portrait session time now. Summer is very popular, and the best times go first. Even if you want fall colors or winter snow, if you wait till then to reserve it, you might be disappointed! Call now!
4. Some portraits look kind of edgy - do I have to do that?
No! Just be you! Some people are conservative, so we treat them that way. Some people want to look like models, so we treat them that way. We judge a lot by the clothing you bring. We want you to look your best, but at the same time, be comfortable and who you are.
5. Are you expensive? As compared to other studios?
No. If you compare portrait to portrait, you will find that our prices are in line with other studios. What often happens is that our clients love our portraits and want to buy them ALL!
6. Do you charge extra for things like retouching and special effects?
All images in your foundation portrait collection or album are retouched for zits - our "acne-free guarantee"! We photograph you right the first time using our expertise in posing and lighting, so there is little need to go back and "repair" our own work. For portrait products such as albums and folios that involve multiple images, you have the choice as to how much artwork you'd like to include.
7. How long does it take to get an appointment?
